Levo Gives to the Friends of the Big Sioux River

Friends of the Big Sioux River is a nonprofit organization based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, dedicated to protecting and restoring the Big Sioux River and its watershed through water quality improvements and community education.

Levo is proud to support that work through a donation that will help expand the organization’s educational outreach and environmental efforts. The funds will support staff-led community education, water quality improvement initiatives, and learning opportunities for K-12 students in both classroom and after-school settings.

(00:06) Levo is pleased to make this donation to the Friends of the Big Sioux River, dedicated to the restoration (00:14) and protection of the Big Sioux. And here to tell us what they're gonna do with the funds is Travis.

Yes. So we are gonna use these funds (00:22) to help, uh, our staff improve and educate the community and improve the watershed and the, the water quality here (00:26) the Big Sioux River. This money will go towards us going to, into classrooms, K through 12 (00:29) classrooms, doing afterschool education, (00:34) and just allowing us to get the message out about the Big Sioux River.
