Levo Opens January 5 in Fargo

Noel_Vert_MugLevo Credit Union will open its first branch in Fargo, ND/Moorhead, MN area, on January 5, 2026, at 9 AM. The new branch will be located at 2975 Uptown Way in Fargo, just off Veterans Boulevard, a major thoroughfare in the city. The branch will be called the Veterans Boulevard Branch.

Levo is opening under the direction of its new branch manager, Noel Snyder. Snyder will be available for interviews at the event. “I’m excited to put my experience to work for a forward-thinking, community-oriented financial institution like Levo,” says Snyder. Snyder has worked for several financial institutions in the Fargo area, bringing nearly 20 years of experience. Prior to her career in financial services, she served in the US Army National Guard as an Intelligence Analyst for over 10 years. “I love the Fargo/Moorhead area, and I can’t wait to help Levo bring our service-oriented approach to this community.”

Levo announced in January 2023 that it would now offer financial services to 29 counties along the I-29 corridor, stretching from Sioux City, Iowa, to Fargo, North Dakota. This means if you – or an immediate family member - works, lives, worships, attends school, or volunteers in these counties, you can apply to be a member and take advantage of Levo’s low loan rates, high savings interest rates, and great service. Businesses and other legal entities operating in these counties are also eligible for membership. Levo has served its members since 1934. Levo’s services include checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgage loans, home equity loans, credit cards, business loans, and other financial products.

“We chose Fargo/Moorhead because it’s such a vibrant community and we feel we have something of value to bring to it,” says Levo President and CEO Fran Sommerfeld. “Our mission is to help people live better. This includes offering them financial products to reach their goals and offering support to the communities we serve.”

Levo has already begun planning how it will support not only its new members, but also its community. Last year, Levo’s foundation donated more than $75,400 in goods and services to over 90 causes across the 29 counties Levo serves.

“We support our community because our community makes us what we are, and we’re looking forward to expanding that support to Fargo/Moorhead,” says Sommerfeld. “Levo means ‘to lift up’, and that’s what we try to do every day.”

Currently, Levo offers six branches in Sioux Falls, SD, one branch in Sioux City, IA, and has more than 37,000 members. Levo has been voted the Local Best in financial services in Sioux Falls for more than a decade. To learn more about Levo’s field of membership and services offered, go to levo.org
