We Love To Give Back

Our community has made Levo what we are today: a 90-year-old credit union that’s 35,000 members strong and growing. We ARE our community! We live, work, worship, go to school, and volunteer alongside you. That’s why we believe in giving back in so many ways.

The Give That Keeps on Giving

Whether it’s with a donation of money, time, or resources, we help out wherever it’s needed in our great community.

We started Operation Hope and Caring in 2017 to help level the playing field for kids who need a little help. Since then, we’ve raised almost $130,000 for principals in Title 1 schools to use on necessities like winter gear closets, food pantries, and washing machines to do laundry for kids who don’t have facilities at home.

We’ve also supported other programs designed to help young community members:

• Levo Community Service Scholarships for Young Members
• Levo Adopt-a-Classroom Grants for Teachers
• Boys and Girls Clubs
• Athletic and Band Boosters
• Backpack Programs
• Junior Achievement

In addition, we donate to dozens of other worthy causes, from food pantries and soup kitchens to financial education, veterans causes, and animal shelters.

We inspire our fellow community members to pay it forward by providing opportunities for them to get involved. If you’re a coffee lover and want to help our efforts, for a suggested donation you can get a bag of Perky Coffee and/or a mug from any of our locations. We donate 100% of the profits a non-profit each quarter.

Stepping Out and Getting Involved

When it comes to helping, we don’t just offer opportunities, we seize them.

To get us out in the field, in 2017 we launched our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program, which allows employees to perform their charitable duties during the workday.

Our staff members volunteer for food pantries, kids programs, financial education initiatives, animal shelters, and more. We believe in being a true partner by listening to what is needed and trying to provide it.

We All Play a Part

Our goal is simple: to help the community thrive. We all play a part, and that’s what gets us out from behind our desks and into the action. Our difference goes far, but it only goes farther when others join in.
