Levo Supports a Sioux Falls Orchestra Teacher

We all have that teacher who made a huge impact in our lives. That’s why Levo’s Adopt a Classroom program has recognized amazing teachers like Ms. Katie Blunck from Discovery Elementary in Sioux Falls since 2014! (0:00) Levo is really pleased to be able to award one of our 2026 Adopt-A-Classroom winners. (0:07) Ms. Katie Blunck is the orchestra teacher, clearly, at Discovery Elementary and she (0:13) was nominated by Allison, who's going to tell us why she nominated Ms. Blunck. (0:18)

Yeah, I nominated Ms. Blunck because she was both my older son and currently my daughter's (0:25) orchestra teacher for the last two years. And she just makes learning so fun and music so fun (0:31) and, you know, writing songs specifically for the classes just to make it even more exciting for (0:37) them. And having a love of music is super important, so I'm really grateful. It's one of (0:44) my daughter's favorite classes every morning when we go to school or get ready for school. I say, (0:48) what's something you look forward to today? And she's like, orchestra. Like, duh. So yeah, (0:53) you're bringing a lot of joy and happiness with what you do.

That is so amazing to hear. (0:58) And you received $500, obviously. What are you going to use the money for? I have already pegged (1:04) a few orchestra bowing things that I want to order that I've never tried before, where it's (1:10) kind of on a string type of thing. And it helps guide the bow across the string to really get a (1:18) good bow position to keep your bow straight and get that flexible wrist. It's going to be awesome. (1:25) I'm excited.
