Sioux City Teacher Supported By Levo

Levo believes in helping our community, and what better way than to help the teachers who shape the minds of our youth? That’s why Levo created the Adopt a Classroom program. Each year, we give $500 to 8 deserving teachers who have made a big impact on someone’s life. (0:00) Levo is pleased to be able to recognize one of our 2026 Adopt-a-Classroom winners, (0:07) Ms. Rachel Oleson from Perry Creek Elementary in Sioux City, Iowa. And she was nominated by (0:13) Melissa who's going to tell us why she nominated Ms. Oleson.

Yes, Ms. Oleson is a very engaging (0:20) teacher. She does a lot of interactive things with manipulatives to make learning fun. All (0:26) the kids know she loves them. She's just a caring, great teacher and we're just so lucky to have her.

(0:34) And obviously this probably came as a surprise.

So what have you thought a little bit about what (0:38) you're going to use the money for?

I kind of talked with the students and we talked about (0:41) getting some new toys, some flexible seating, classroom materials to make things more engaging (0:47) and hands-on for them. So we're really excited.
